About This Action
The Georgia Legislature has gone off the cliff by passing a “license to discriminate” bill -- a bill is so broad that it would allow discrimination against the LGBTQ community and undermine local non-discrimination ordinances across the state. It could even allow a woman to be fired if she divorces and remarries, or a pharmacist to refuse birth control or life-saving medication to a customer! YOU can help to stop it!
Why Does It Matter?
If passed, this harmful legislation would set Georgia back 30+ years, allowing tax-payer funded organizations to discriminate across the board—putting LGBT Georgians, unmarried couples, women, racial minorities, religious minorities, people living with disabilities, and more in the line of fire.
