Two South Florida therapists have challenged local laws that prohibit them for practicing so-called "conversion therapy" on minors. At stake is whether local governments can protect LGBTQ+ youth from this thoroughly discredited and dangerous practice. The ruling could have implications throughout the 11th Circuit (Florida, Georgia, Alabama), and the case may eventually reach the U.S. Supreme Court.
