About This ActionIn 2016, the U.S. Senate majority announced that no Supreme Court Justice should be nominated in a Presidential election year - declaring that "the People should decide." In 2020 we could not agree more.
This year Senators are trying to go back on their word even after voters have already started voting and with only weeks before Election Day. We must remind Senators to keep their word and insure no nominee, no hearings, and no vote until after the election when a new President and Senate - reflecting the will of the people - can put forth a nomination. How Does it Work?
