Volunteers with NEAT are invested in taking action – no matter where they live – that compels Americans to speak out in favor of LGBTQ equality and justice. Our volunteers make phone calls from home to connect voters with their lawmakers, urge people to get out and vote, or assist with a variety of other actions that put volunteers right in the middle of these exciting, historic campaigns. The Compact

The NEAT Compact is a coalition of national, regional and local organizations as well as individual organizers who mobilize their members to volunteer for actions in support of LGBTQ equality and justice nationwide. These actions are coordinated by NEAT and managed in cooperation with local campaigns and leadership. Town Halls

When major events happen affecting the LGBTQ community, our telephone Town Halls are the place where grassroots leaders, community organizations and every day people tune in for information, resources and to get their questions answered. Hosted by NEAT, these tele-Town Halls bring panels of movement experts and everyday people affected by these issues in to your home to inform, share their stories, and provide tools for attendees to go out in to their own communities to inform and take action. Learn More...

 Regional Canvassing

When campaigns for LGBTQ equality and justice are happening in communities and states near you, NEAT's Regional Canvassing program brings you to where the need for volunteers is greatest! Our Power Weekends of Action bring volunteers from nearby states and communities in to the middle of critical campaigns for LGBTQ equality and justice. Volunteers spend the weekend knocking on doors, speaking to local residents, and empowering those residents to take action. Together, we can do the vital work to drive momentum and create more wins nationwide. Learn More...
